If your LotusPay account is enabled for physical mandates, you can use the LotusPay NACH mobile app to scan physical NACH mandates.
Step 1. Download the LotusPay NACH app from the Google Play store on your Android device. For best results, use a modern device with latest Android operating system and a decent camera.
Step 2. Log in with your key. If you are a field agent, your company's central operations team will send you your key.
Step 3. When you log in, you will see a list of your pending physical mandates that require scanning. Select the mandate ID that you want to scan. You can search by part or all of the mandate ID. You can also search for the mandate by scanning the paper mandate's QR code (if it has one) - select the menu and then select Search by QR code.
Step 4. Check that the mandate details match the paper mandate that you want to scan. If matching, click on SCAN MANDATE. Your device camera will open.
Step 5. Position your device over the paper mandate. Ensure that the edges of the paper mandate are within the green border. Ensure that the paper mandate has good lighting (use a desk lamp if required). Click on the blue camera icon to capture the image.
Step 6. You can check the image. If it's fine, click on UPLOAD MANDATE. Otherwise, click on back and retake the photo.
If you are a field agent, your company's central operations team will process the mandate for you.
Once the mandate is uploaded, it is stored in LotusPay but is not yet submitted for processing. The processing action can be done in the dashboard or via the API.
